Reported Crop Circles for the State of Indiana -

Greensburg / Napoleon, Decatur County (August 1994)

A 64’ diameter circle in soybeans discovered in early September by the farmer while harvesting the field, but thought to have originally formed in August sometime based on the growth stage of the plants. The lay was swirled clockwise, and what was described as “an inner circle” measuring 2’ 10” in diameter. The bean pods were all intact on the flattened plants with none having been knocked off, and the stalks were described as “bent not broken”. No tracks were found leading into the formation. Field investigators reported no unusual Geiger counter readings, their compass worked fine, and they did a hydrocarbon vapor test which turned out negative.
